Chimney Extension - Insulated 8" x 48". This product meets specifications for all HE, GH, and BHS model furnaces. (NOTE: This 8" size will NOT fit GX model furnaces.)
Also NOTE: A "Chimney Extension Adapter - 8" is required to attach this extension to any HE, GH, or BHS model furnace.
All Chimney extensions are shown by their INSIDE diameter and length. The outside diameter is always 2 inches wider. Accordingly, this product has an OD of 10".
NEVER use an uninsulated chimney extension. Outdoor wood boiler exhaust contains high amounts of steam from the wood fuel, and this steam must exit the furnace without condensing on the chimney wall. If the chimney wall is uninsulated, this steam will condense on the chimney wall, and highly acidic moisture will ruin most boilers in less than a few months.

SuperPro Chimney features 304-alloy stainless steel for both its inner and outer liner and mineral wool solid pack insulation. This insulation is formulated for optimum performance, it provides a thermal delay that resists and contains surges of heat, keeping the outer liner cooler.
