The VTC Thermostat 140F is a required component of the VTC Thermostatic Load Valve ("TLV"). This is the thermostat only, not the valve. The TLV is a required installed component for every high efficiency outdoor boiler installation. The purpose of the TLV is to ensure that the boiler water jacket temp does not drop below 140 degrees.
