Replacement plastic float or bobber for the water level indicator assembly.

This product meets specifications for the water level indicator used on Hawken furnace Models HE-1100, HE-2100, GX10, GX15, and GX30.

Float Assembly Instructions:

The float is a simple device - it is actually an assembly consisting of two parts that are put together at the factory. The top portion has a slot to insert the rod of the water level indicator. The bottom portion is empty holding air to cause it to float in water. You must make sure the bottom portion is not penetrated when inserting the rod into the float.

1. Place the water level indicator rod into a vice and tighten the vice so the rod is held firmly.

2. Make sure the water level indicator rod tip is sufficiently flattened and will fit into the small slot of the float. If not, use a grinder or sander to make the rod tip narrower.

3. Place the float slot over the flattened rod end, and gently tap on the float with a rubber mallet until the rod end enters the float slot and hits the stop. The float will feel secure and will not easily pull off the rod end, if attached correctly.

Your water level indicator is now ready to be placed back into service!
