What speed should your outdoor boiler pump be set at? Approximately eight years ago, most Grundfos pumps came with three speed settings. These were simply labeled I, II, and III. Which one is best?
15-Second Fix - The answer is simple: you should set your pump at the lowest speed that gets the job done. Simply set the pump at the lowest speed, or the "I" speed, and see if this gets you sufficient heat. If not, increase the speed until you get the heat you need.
Many applications can be properly heated with the BTUs that are provided at the lowest speed, so we recommend that you start there. EASY!
